Cookies

So what is a cookie?

A cookie is a piece(s) of information generated by a website and stored in the user's computer as a text file (not an executable), ready for future access. Cookies are embedded in the HTML code of a webpage for information flowing back and forth between the user's computer and the website.

Cookies were created in order to allow users to receive customization of Website information. For example, cookies are used to personalize Web search engines, to allow users to participate in WWW-wide contests (but only once!), and to store shopping lists of items a user has selected while browsing through a virtual shopping mall.

Please note: ADCMaps.us does not support users with instructions on how to enable or disable cookies. However, we would like to offer you links to the two major internet browser software providers. Please visit their site for information on how to enable or disable cookies.

If you have any problems with the information sources mentioned above, please contact those company's on an individual basis.
